Security & evidence integrity

An audit is only as strong as its record.

OAE Trust Resolution treats integrity as an engineering property, not a promise. Every hash can be recomputed. Every log structurally cannot be rewritten. Every export can be verified by anyone who holds it.

SHA-256 custody, intake to export

Every evidence file (each QuickBooks export, each bank statement) is SHA-256 hashed the moment it’s uploaded. Those hashes follow the evidence through the entire review, so any figure in any report can be traced to a source file whose integrity is checkable at any time. If a file changed by a single byte, the hash would say so.

Append-only decision logs

Reviewer decisions require a written rationale and are appended to a log that only grows. There is no edit, no delete, no quiet correction. A change of mind is a new entry that references the old one. What was decided, by whom, and why is preserved exactly as it happened.

Immutable snapshots & sealed exports

Review states are captured as immutable snapshots, and the final audit package is cryptographically hashed as a whole. Anyone holding the package (a partner, an attorney, a regulator) can independently verify that nothing was altered after it was produced.

Access-locked deployment

The application runs behind an access lock: no anonymous surface area, and the attorney response portal is the only deliberately public path, scoped to exactly the packet the attorney was asked to answer.

Determinism as an integrity property

Because the engine is deterministic, verification isn’t a matter of trusting our output: the same evidence re-run produces the same result. Reproducibility is the strongest audit control there is, and it’s built into the core.

What we don’t claim

No borrowed compliance badges, no vague “bank-grade” language. When OAE Trust Resolution says a log cannot be rewritten, that is a property of the software, and you can test it. Have a specific security question about data handling, retention, or deployment? Ask us directly, and you’ll get a straight answer.

Why it matters

Integrity you can hand to a regulator

Trust-account reviews exist for the moment someone questions them. A spreadsheet can’t prove it wasn’t edited. A package from OAE Trust Resolution can: every source hashed, every decision logged in order, the whole export sealed. That’s the difference between asserting your work and demonstrating it.
